Founded in 1949, Hornady® Manufacturing has become a world-leading innovator of bullet, ammunition, reloading tool and accessory design and manufacturing. Hornady West is a 150,000 square-foot building that will offer both production and shipping services to the ammo maker. Nestled on 320 acres, Hornady intends to add more in the future eventually introducing R&D capabilities as well as other support services for production operations.

Contego HS Intumescent RFB was selected to protect this state of the art facility because of our superior technical performance, zero VOC content, and strong fire resistance ratings on composite steel decking.

Governor Pete Ricketts commended the ammo maker during the facility’s grand opening, thanking Hornady for its investment into the state of Nebraska.
